FAQs

Do you have experience working with neurodiverse or twice-exceptional (2E) learners?

Yes. We specialize in supporting children who think and learn differently, whether they’re gifted, have ADHD, dyslexia, anxiety, or a combination. Our tutors are trained to recognize and celebrate neurodivergent strengths while providing thoughtful, individualized support that respects how your child processes and expresses learning.

How do you tailor sessions to my child’s unique learning profile?

We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all worksheets or cookie-cutter plans. Every session is customized based on your child’s needs, interests, and goals. Using a strength-based approach, we design sessions that build confidence, foster curiosity, and help students feel empowered, not overwhelmed.

Can you help my child with both academics and executive functioning?

Absolutely. Many of our students need help beyond just content, they may struggle with organization, focus, task initiation, or frustration tolerance. We support the whole child, blending academic tutoring with coaching in mindset, executive functioning, and emotional regulation.

Do you offer in-home or virtual sessions on the Upper East Side?

Yes! We offer flexible scheduling and serve families across all five NYC boroughs and beyond. Whether you prefer in-home sessions on the Upper East Side or virtual support from the comfort of your home, we’ll work with your schedule and location.

How will I know if tutoring is working?

We provide regular updates and welcome ongoing communication. Because we take an insight-driven approach, progress isn’t measured only by test scores, it’s also about confidence, independence, and engagement. We’ll collaborate with you (and, if needed, your child’s school team) to ensure meaningful, visible growth.
